Turn off the dmg energy gain/loss life gain/loss effects
Is there a way to turn off the little floating numbers that fly off of characters and monsters when stuff happens like take damage or lose energy. It nice to know whats going on but, well lets say you are raptor farming and use sympathetic visage and sliver armour, even on the lowest graphical settings, with all the pretty stuff, and even sound, turned off a computer is likely to just stop totally working and lock up.

As far as i know you can not turn off the damage/health gains that you recieve/deal here is a thread relevant to what you are talking about...not sure if they came up with a remedy tho Last edited by Coridan; Jan 07, 2008 at 04:51 PM // 16:51.. |

yeah i found that thread this morning. Seems that the conclusion was that the code would have to be changed to limit the number of numbers on the screen for that. Least i got a cool screenshot before it died....
